Biography
Sven Bölte, Ph.D., is professor of child and adolescent psychiatric science at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet (KI)., where he directs the KI Center of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (“KIND”). Sven has worked in the field of neurodivergence in Germany and Sweden for more than 25 years. His current research focus is on quality of life, societal participation, and environmental facilitators and barriers in autism and ADHD, particularly the implementation of WHO’s International Classification of Functioning (ICF) in clinical, educational, and social arenas.
