Schizotypal
Schizotypal traits in children and adolescents may include odd or eccentric behaviour, unusual perceptual experiences, and difficulties with social relationships. While Schizotypal Personality Disorder is not typically diagnosed until adulthood, early identification of these traits can be important for providing appropriate support and intervention. Treatment approaches often focus on social skills training, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and family interventions to improve functioning and prevent potential progression to more severe disorders.
