Biography

Eugene Lee Davids is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Health Studies at the University of South Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (B.Psych), Masters and Doctoral degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of the Western Cape as well as a Master of Public Health from the University of Cape Town. His interdisciplinary academic background is in psychology and public health, where his research examines the social determinants of health and well-being of adolescents and emerging adults. Eugene has also investigated the role of parenting styles in health-related outcomes for adolescents.
