Biography

My main research interests centre on modelling complex real-world relationships using a range of statistical and computational methods, including mixture models; structural equation modelling; and machine learning. I am particularly interested in understanding different trajectories toward well-being or maladjustment and their predictors; developing early preventive approaches informed by predictive modelling; and exploring causal mechanisms as a foundation for designing effective interventions. Where possible, I apply a systemic approach to studying mental health and integration, considering not just individual-level contributors, but also broader environmental and societal influences. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to identifying the most effective interventions within the context of limited public resources, in both local and global health contexts.
