Biography

Dr. Nicholas Westers is a distinguished paediatric psychologist at Children's Health, specialising in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. He completed his internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Centre in 2010 and a fellowship in paediatric psychology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Westers holds a graduate degree from Regent University and is board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology. His research interests encompass adolescent nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) and the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide (IPTS). Dr. Westers is committed to enhancing the well-being of children and adolescents, combining his expertise with a deep sense of compassion for his young patients.
