Biography
Dr. Miriam Martini is a postdoctoral researcher in the Women's Mental Health Epidemiology group at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm Sweden, with a background in psychology and a PhD in psychiatric epidemiology. Her research focuses on sex differences in mental health, particularly among autistic individuals. She is also interested in reproductive health in women with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD, a topic she plans to explore further in her future work. Through her work, Miriam aims to identify healthcare needs, uncover factors contributing to health conditions, and examine their consequences—ultimately working to reduce health inequalities and improve care for underrepresented groups.
