Biography

Laura is a postdoctoral research assistant in the Youth Resilience Unit, Queen Mary University of London. She completed her PhD in Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry at King’s College London, combining multiple methodologies to investigate anhedonia in depression. Her postdoctoral work has focused on loneliness in young people, working on projects investigating the cognitive correlates of youth loneliness, and creating a new questionnaire to measure youth loneliness. Her research interests are in young people’s mental health and wellbeing, developmental research, longitudinal research, using arts-based practices in research, patient and public involvement and engagement, and co-production.
